Cancer Partners of Nebraska is seeking a Patient Advocate Specialist to join our growing Business Office.
This newly formulated position will split their time between the patient advocate role and pre-authorization role. For the patient advocate portion of the position, the team member is responsible for serving on the front line for Cancer Partners of Nebraska by working to minimize patient obstacles encountered while addressing the complexity of oncology care. The focus is to advocate for the patient and the clinic by identifying and coordinating access to assistance services to minimize the financial burden of care. The Patient Advocate discusses with patients either face to face or over the phone the clinic’s expectations as impacted by the details of their insurance coverage or lack of insurance coverage.
Cancer Partners is seeking an Oncology Front Desk/Scheduler to join our team. This position serves as the front line for the medical team; greeting patients, collecting payments, verifying billing information and performing all clerical duties necessary to prepare patients for visits and scheduling to referring clinics. Applicants must have medical/clinic experience to be considered. Applicants must also have a High School diploma or GED, but a college degree or certification is preferred.
Cancer Partners of Nebraska is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our infusion department at our two Lincoln locations. Infusion nurses provide comprehensive oncology services in an adult outpatient setting. Must have a current Nebraska-licensed registered nursing license from an accredited school of nursing and must be CPR certified. Applicants must also have at least three years of nursing experience. Critical care or prior oncology/chemotherapy experience is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate and interact with patients, family members and co-workers are a must.
Cancer Partners of Nebraska is seeking a Medical Records Specialist to join our Business Office. This position performs a variety of duties involved in maintaining patient medical records including obtaining medical information on patients seen in the clinic and distributing requested medical information. Applicants must also have a High School diploma or GED and two years in an office setting.
