A simple relaxation method for training the mind-body connection.
Restorative yoga is a prop-heavy, breath-control-based yoga class. It’s set at a slow pace with deep breathing to trigger the parasympathetic nervous system.
The focus for classes is on the importance of movement to stimulate the immune system, improve flexibility and strength, reducing anxiety and boosting your well-being. Research has shown that yoga can reduce the side effects of cancer and its treatments and reduce the risk of recurrence. Cancer survivors and patients need specific support from yoga professionals. Classes incorporate physical postures, breathing techniques and mindfulness exercises such as meditation. All fitness levels are welcome. Fill out the form below to register for a class.
