Dr.Grieb is board‑certified in internal medicine, hematology, and medical oncology. He completed his medical degree at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, followed by an internal medicine residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He then continued at Mayo for a three‑year fellowship in medical oncology and hematology, further strengthening his expertise in cancer care and blood disorders.
He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, where he was also a student‑athlete competing in cross country and track and field.
He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Hematology, the American College of Physicians, the Nebraska Medical Association, and the Lancaster County Medical Society. He is also an affiliate member of the UNMC Eppley Cancer Center. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Grieb contributes to advancing cancer research as an Investigator with the Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology and the ECOG‑ACRIN Cancer Research Group.
He is originally from York, Nebraska, and is married with four children.
