Dr. Chiu is board certified in radiation oncology. He received his medical degree from the State University of New York, Upstate Medical Center and interned at St. Joseph’s Health Center. He completed a radiation oncology residency and received the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology (ASTRO) research fellowship award at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. His teaching affiliations include Associate Professor of Radiation Oncology, Baylor Medical College, Houston, Texas; Associate Professor Of Radiation Oncology, Cornell Medical School, New York; and Associate Professor of Pediatrics, Baylor Medical College, Houston, Texas.
Dr. Chiu is a member of ASTRO, Nebraska Medical Association and the Lancaster County Medical Society. He has been the Principal Investigator in numerous clinical research studies and has been published extensively in medical literature. He is also an Investigator with the Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology and the ECOG-ACRIN Cancer Research Group. He is married with two children.
