Dr. Green is board-certified in internal medicine and medical oncology. He graduated from the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa, and completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Texas, followed by a two-year fellowship in medical oncology at Baylor University Medical Center in Texas. His undergrad is from Nebraska Wesleyan University.
Dr. Green is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Hematology, the Nebraska Medical Association, the Lancaster County Medical Society, past Medical Director for the Nebraska Community Blood Bank, Medical Director for Amedisys (Aseracare) Hospice and is an affiliate member of the UNMC Eppley Cancer Center. He is also an Investigator with the Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology and the ECOG-ACRIN Cancer Research Group. He is originally from Scottsbluff, Nebraska, and is married with three children.
