Dr. Morris is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and he specializes in gynecologic oncology surgery. This includes radical pelvic surgery and minimally-invasive robotic-assisted laparoscopic surgeries. He earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Oklahoma. He completed his gynecologic oncology fellowship at the University of Iowa.
Dr. Morris is a member of the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists, the Western Association of Gynecologic Oncologists as well as the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He is also a member of the Nebraska Medical Association, the Lancaster County Medical Society and is an affiliate member of the UNMC Eppley Cancer Center. He is also an Investigator with the Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology and the ECOG-ACRIN Cancer Research Group. He grew up in Des Moines, IA and Hartford, CT, before moving to Nebraska. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his two sons and dogs.
