Dr. McHam is triple board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in internal medicine, medical oncology and hematology. He received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from Oklahoma State University. He completed an internal medicine residency and a three-year hematology/medical oncology fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio. He also received a merit award for his research in head and neck cancer presented at the 38th Annual Meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
Dr. McHam is a member of the American College of Clinical Oncology, Nebraska Medical Association and Lancaster County Medical Society. His other activities include Principal Investigator with the Warren Cancer Research Foundation, Principal Investigator with Tulsa Cancer Institute, Investigator with Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology and the ECOG-ACRIN Cancer Research Group and a previous Clinical Assistant Professor. He grew up in Oklahoma and is married with two children.
